This webcam offers a real-time view of the weather conditions at the top of the Puy de Dôme. Rain, cloudy ceiling, it is an important indicator to determine if it is possible to fly a paraglider.
Puy de Dôme camera seen from Clermont
This camera allows you to see the atmosphere and the weather above Clermont-Ferrand and on the Puy de Dôme. It thus complements the various other webcams in the Puy de Dôme as well as the indications of the weather beacons.

Now grouped together under the OpenWindMap project, the PiouPiou beacons constitute an advanced meteorological observation network throughout France, indicating wind direction and speed, two essential parameters for the practice of paragliding.

This complete weather station at the summit of the Puy de Dôme allows you to measure numerous parameters in near real time, including wind speed and direction as well as the ambient temperature at this altitude.
